AS Media - Posting Magazine pages to your blog

The front cover of my Music Magazine

4 comments:

  1. To do this, in the Photoshop Document click 'File' and 'Save As'. In the save box, make sure that the format you save it in is a JPEG.

Once you have a JPEG version of the magazine page, you then create a new post on your blog and insert the image. Underneath write something like "1st Draft of my Magazine Front Cover".

Create three separate posts for each page of the magazine.

This is due by Friday 10th February at 3 o'clock in the afternoon.

    1. sorry for the late post sir, I had an issue at home with my internet since 2, We had a technician over to resolve the problem, annoyingly later than hoped, also my Photoshop is not allowing me to make it into a JPEG so I had to print-screen and make into slide share, if that is a problem I apologise, thanks:)

  2. Your homework for the half term break:

Each post in your blog needs a comment underneath it.

For the research stage of the course (all your research, analysis of magazines etc) must include the following:
    - What discoveries did you make about magazines themselves?
    - How will this impact on the magazine that you are creating?

It is vitally imprortant that you complete this stage. You need to show the examiners that you are evaluating your own project as you go along.

For the Magazine 1st drafts you then need to do your own evaluation of those pages.
    - What has been a success? What looks good?
    - What impact has your research had on the outcome of your 1st draft?
    - What do you now need to do to improve your magazine?

It is extremely important that you are as specific as you can be in this evaluation section. Saying that 'the image is good' is not enough. You need to say exactly why it is good and what impact it would have on the target audience.

The comments on the research and planning posts are due on Monday 20th February and the comments on the magazine pages themselves are due on the following Monday, 27th February.

    Have a good holidays folks!
